Karen Louise Harsch, 76, of Crocker, formerly of Dixon, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at her home.

She was born September 30, 1947, to Lawrence William and Ruby Louise (Smith) Lam at Richmond, Calif.

She was first married to George Harsch June 11, 1966. Karen was later married to Richard Hesselbacher on Dec. 9, 2017.

Karen was baptized April 1963 at the First Christian Church, Dixon, and had been a member of the Cuba Chapter Number 398 Order of the Eastern Star and just received her 50 year pin, as well as the Garnet Chapter Number 289 Order of the Eastern Star, Dixon. She was a secretary for the Military Personnel Division, Fort Leonard Wood, retiring after 35 years of service.

She was preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Ruby; and sister, Judy Lam.

Karen is survived by husband, Richard of the home in Crocker; daughter, Kimberly Terry and husband Dwight of Warrenton; son, Andy Harsch and wife Shelley of Warrenton; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were Tuesday, June 4, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dixon.

Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon.
