Vichy Volunteer Fire Department recently announced that it had retired its 1999 Dodge Brush Truck 3 that had faithfully served the Vichy Fire Dept. and community for 22 years. The department purchased the truck used in 2002. The bill of sale was still in the truck when volunteers cleaned it out for the last time. The truck, water tank, pump and hose reel will be on Schneider’s Online Auction in September. The department’s new 2024 Chevy Brush Truck 3 is in service with only a few finishing touches left to be done. Truck 3 is ready to roll when needed. Chief Jerry Smith, Troy Warth, Dave Hairfield, Charlie Dowell, Dustin Elrod, Andy Elrod, Trey Warth and Kevin Kerber.
