VIENNA — The Vienna Eagles Athletic Booster Club met Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in the school library to discuss upcoming events, team needs and club activities. President Lori Hayes, Vice President Julie Long, Treasurer Amy Rowden and Secretary Jodi Nichols led the meeting, which included Athletic Director Kevin Schwartze, several coaches and other club members.
During the meeting, the club finalized the blackout dates for the basketball season. Boys games will be blacked out on February 5 and February 17, 2026, while girls games are set for December 15 and January 28. Student-submitted shirt designs were reviewed, and Reese Snodgrass’s design was selected as the favorite. She will receive a free t-shirt as recognition for her work.
In new business, Athletic Director Schwartze requested the Booster Club fund the renewal of the HUDL system, which both the boys and girls basketball teams use to film games and track statistics. He also asked the club to consider purchasing basketball uniforms for the middle school teams for the next season. Currently, middle school players receive hand-me-downs from the high school, which often are too large. The Board and Schwartze agreed and he will research options and present them at a future meeting.
In other business, during the meeting, members were reminded that Eagle Wear orders were due Saturday, November 8, ahead of the holiday season. The order form was available on the Booster Club Facebook page, and orders were also to be placed via message or Venmo.
