Hosting St. James last night (Tuesday), Meagan Fisher’s Belle Lady Tiger soccer team will compete in the annual Dixon Girls Soccer Tournament throughout the rest of this week.
Not playing today (Wednesday), Belle will open their portion of the round-robin tournament tomorrow (Thursday) at 5 p.m., against Crocker looking to avenge an 8-0 loss earlier in the season to the Lady Lions. Dixon and Owensville will play before them at 3 p.m.
Friday tournament games will kick off at 3 p.m., with Belle facing off against the host Lady Bulldogs followed at 5 p.m., by Crocker facing Laquey.
Capping the tournament on Saturday, Belle will play twice with their first game scheduled for 10 a.m., against Laquey and their second contest slated for 4 p.m., against Owensville.
Against their Highway 28 rivals to the east, Belle will also be looking to avenge an earlier 8-0 loss to the Dutchgirls last Tuesday at the Kingsford Soccer Complex outside of Belle.
Following the Dixon Tournament, Fisher’s Lady Tiger soccer team will face Crocker yet again on Monday, April 12 at home starting at 5 p.m.
