Able to get basketball action in last Tuesday night before Winter Storm Landon hit the area, Belle hit the road to Stoutland for a showdown of Tiger basketball teams in a varsity doubleheader. Girls action saw Belle come up on the short end of a 31-30 final score. No further information from that contest was available at press time. Still searching for their first win during the 2022 portion of their season, Roger Siwak’s Belle Tigers ended up on the wrong side of a 79-54 final score against the host Tigers from Stoutland. Justin Lingo led Belle scoring 17 of his team-high 23 points in the second half. He was joined in double figures by Brayden Cadwallader scoring 10 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter. Evin Farris’ Lady Tigers will host Rolla Home School tomorrow (Thursday) at 6 p.m., in a game rescheduled from last Friday due to Winter Storm Landon. Siwak’s Tigers will host Cuba on Friday night at 5:30 p.m., after a make-up game tomorrow (Thursday) at Bourbon.
