William Lawrence Hoffman Sr.,73, Freeburg, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, in Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.
He was born June 27, 1947, to Albert Henry and Bernadine Elizabeth (Bax) Hoffman.
He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Coleman, June 29, 1980, in Jefferson City.
Billy was employed with Quaker Windows and Doors in Freeburg and was previously employed by Mr. and Mrs. Knoll, when their company manufactured Venetian Blinds. Billy had also worked in timber as a woodcutter.
He was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Bernadine; brother, Frank Hoffman; and sister, Mary Ann Stradford.
He is survived by wife, Mary, of the home; children, William Jr., Mike and Beverly; siblings, Alex “Fireball” Hoffman and wife Norma of Meta; Joan Linnenbringer and husband Gary of Auxvasse, Joseph “Butchy” Hoffman, Albert Hoffmann Jr. and wife Linda and Theresa Pope, all of Freeburg; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 27, at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Vienna with Rev. William D. Debo of Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, officiating.
