BELLE — The Belle Trunk or Treat is returning Oct. 31 to the Belle-Bland Community Center.
The Belle Board of Aldermen approved 4-0 allowing Owens Towing to use the community center for the event. They also approved 4-0 for the city to spend $500 on candy and cupcakes and $100 on decorations.
Treasurer Charro Reasor said that in the past she has paid for decorations from her own pocket or used preexisting decorations.
The aldermen also approved 4-0 to allow Tanya Barnhart to host a movie night around 8:30 p.m. outside the community center after the trunk or treat concludes. The showing of Hocus Pocus will have free admission.
