BELLE — Members of the Belle Fair royalty joined the Belle YaYas at Belle City Park on Sunday, Aug. 30, to welcome social media personality KG of Ksmilesfoodpeople and promote the upcoming Battle of the Bulls benefit.

Belle Fair Queen Saige Garner, Belle Fair Princess MaKenna Lange and Belle Fair Junior Princess Tatyn Campbell joined YaYas members Cindy Butler, Jacy Duncan and Cindy Hamm-Dworek for the visit.

The Belle Fair royalty invited KG to return to the community to learn about the Belle YaYas and promote the 14th annual Battle of the Bulls: Bucking for a Purpose, scheduled for Sept. 25-26 at Belle City Park.

The bull-riding event raises money to assist people battling cancer and other medical conditions that require frequent treatments. The Belle YaYas have raised more than $300,000 for their crisis funds, which provide assistance to individuals and families facing medical hardships.

During his visit, KG learned about the Battle of the Bulls, the YaYas’ mission and traditions associated with the Belle Community Fair. The visit also gave members of the Belle Fair royalty an opportunity to build relationships with a local organization serving the community.

Garner, Lange and Campbell will work with the Belle Community Betterment Association at the gates during the Battle of the Bulls before helping at the concession stands.

KG is promoting the event through his social media platforms and helping publicize an online giveaway through the Belle Fair Facebook page. One winner will receive four passes to the Battle of the Bulls.

When asked how he became involved in the event, KG said, “Jessica (Barbarick) Vaughn asked me to do it. She told me about all the people they’ve helped and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?”

KG also plans to return for the 79th annual Belle Fair in 2027 to help promote the fair, local businesses and the Belle community.
