Teresa Lynne Price, 66, passed away on May 8, 2026.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1959, to the late Winfred and Marion Louise Price.
She was a 1978 graduate of Maries County R-II High School in Belle.
Teresa spent much of her life in the Jefferson City area, where she worked for and retired from Unilever Corporation. Following her retirement, she returned to the Belle area and resided with her partner, David Tackett and son, Brandon Tackett.
Teresa enjoyed tending to flowers, playing board games, sudoku, and crossword puzzles. She had a special love for animals, especially her dogs. Teresa will be remembered for her quiet enjoyment of life and the love she shared with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents,Winfred and Marion; and brothers, Allen Wayne Price and Forrest Vernon Price.
Teresa is survived by partner, David Tackett; son, Brandon Tackett of the home; sister, Donna Gehlert and husband Randall; and brother, Richard Price; nephews, Douglas and Justin Gehlert, Derek Price and wife Lisa, Mason Price and wife Gabby, Dalton Price and wife Sara and Skylar Price and wife Mya; along with great-nieces and great-nephews, Wesley and Lainey Price, Harper and Maverick Price, Addy and Carter Price, and Jackson and Ivy Price.
Following Teresa’s wishes, she was cremated and will be interred during a private family ceremony at a later date in the Price family plot at Skaggs Chapel Cemetery in rural Maries County.
