Shirley Amelia Williamson, 87, of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, in her home.
She was born July 9, 1936, to Walter Henry and Ethel Ada (Nickel) Baynham in Pittsburgh, Penn.
She was united in marriage to John William Williamson, Jr., April 1, 1955, in Martinsville, Ind.
Shirley was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Ethel; husband, John; son, Thomas Williamson; and grandson, Travis Maddox.
She is survived by children, Shirley Maddox of the state of Indiana, John Williamson, III (Susan), Mary Roberts (Ruel), and Jim Williamson (Julie) all of Dixon, Debbie Roberts (John) of Waynesville, and Joni Edwards-Scimemi (Lenny) of Steedman; 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Following the wishes of Shirley, the family elected cremation and will have a private service at Williamson Cemetery.
