Shelia Kay Bossaller, 70, of Cooper Hill, passed away on Nov. 29, 2023, in Leduc.

She was born May 28, 1953, to the late Ruth and Calvin Buddemeyer in Bland.

Shelia graduated from Bland High School and had a passion for picking up walnuts and pecans. She found joy in this simple pleasure and always looked forward to it. She was a determined and hard-working woman who enjoyed quilting, spending time outdoors, and being with her dog, Buddy.

She was preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Calvin; son, Fester Bossaller; and great-granddaughter, Callyn Lorts.

Shelia is survived by loving daughter, Ronnea (John) Rhodes of Leduc; cherished grandchildren, Courtney (Dylan) Lorts of St. James, Olivia Vandegriffe of Columbia, Haley (Chad) Raaf of Owensville, and Jacob Bossaller of Cooper Hill; great-grandchildren Canaan Lorts, Dallas Lorts, and Hattie Raaf; siblings, Bill (Sandy) Buddemeyer of Canaan, Richard (JoAnn) Buddemeyer of Cleavesville, Harold Buddemeyer of Belle, Barb (Gary) Schaller of Belle, Donna (Leon) Roberson of Canaan, and John (Amy) Buddemeyer of Cleavesville. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew. Shelia had many friends over the years, but one special friend, Denise of Hope, will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life for Shelia Kay Bossaller will be held Friday, Dec. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at Leduc Little Country Church, outside of Bland. Following the services, a luncheon will be served.

Shelia will be remembered for her determination, hard work, and love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
