Richard Allen Christensen, 75, Vienna, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022, in Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.

He was born Dec. 15, 1946, to Robert Dale and Elizabeth Claire (Hobby) Christensen in Missoula, Mont.

Richard was united in marriage to Phyllis Jean Terry, Nov. 30, 1968, in Vienna. 

He served in the U.S. Army from 1966–1968.  

He was a member of First Baptist Church, Vienna, where he served as a Deacon and was active in all areas of church ministry.

He was employed as manager of Grizzly Auto Center, Missoula, Mont., and owned Oak Harvest Treasures, Vienna, until retiring in 2012.

Richard is survived by wife Phyllis of the home; son Brent Allen Christensen and wife Melinda of Columbia; daughter Richelle Grosvenor and husband Rob of Four Seasons; brother Robert Dale Christensen, Jr. of Missoula, Mont.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, at 11 a.m., in First Baptist Church, Vienna, with Bro. Chris Slocum and Bro. Mike Hurtgen officiating.

An additional memorial funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at 2:00 p.m., in the Linda Vista Event Center, Missoula, Mont.

A private family inurnment will be held in Vienna Public Cemetery.
