Raymond Stiebel, 89, of Dixon, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at Caring Hearts and Hands, Columbia.
He was born Nov. 8, 1934, to Joseph John and Ethel Adeline (Craycraft) Stiebel in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Frances Rantz, in 1964, in St. Louis.
Raymond was an over-the-road truck driver.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Ethel; wife, Frances; son, Lawrence Hamlin; daughter, Debbie Stiebel; and brothers, Jay Stiebel and Joe Stiebel.
Raymond is survived by sons, Dennis Stiebel and Rick Stiebel both of the state of Texas; daughters, Debbie Wortman and husband John, of Pacific, Christine Cox and husband Christopher of Jefferson City, Tonia Williams and husband Bryan, and Dawn Smith and husband John, all of Dixon, and Tracie Barkley and husband Steve of Mt. Home, Ark.; and sister, Mary Gillen of St. Louis.
Following the wishes of Raymond, the family elected cremation under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon.
