BELLE — A one-vehicle crash early March 15 in Maries County sent three individuals to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Highway 28 about four miles south of Vienna. The incident was investigated by Trooper K.D. Rapier.
According to the report, a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by a 15-year-old male juvenile from St. James was traveling eastbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by Plaza Towing.
The driver, along with two passengers, a 13-year-old male juvenile and a 40-year-old male, both from Rolla, sustained minor injuries. All three were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash and were transported by Maries County Ambulance District to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
A two-vehicle crash the morning of March 18 in Maries County resulted in minor injuries to both drivers, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:05 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 63 and Highway 28 in Vichy. The incident was investigated by Master Sgt. S.W. Cunningham.
According to the report, a 2006 Ford Mustang driven by a 57-year-old male from Iberia had stopped to make a left turn when it was struck in the rear by a southbound 2011 Ford Focus driven by a 46-year-old male from St. Elizabeth.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Ford Focus was transported by personal vehicle to Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City. The driver of the Ford Mustang was transported by ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla. Both were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
Both vehicles were totaled and removed from the scene. The Ford Focus was towed by Plaza Towing, and the Ford Mustang was towed by DLH Towing.
Assistance at the scene was provided by Trooper K.P. Hunt, Trooper A.L. Gillispie, and the Vichy Fire Department.
