Mary Kaye (Breeden) Rogers, 79, Dixon, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, at Phelps Health in Rolla.
She was born on Feb. 28, 1946, to the late Leonard Abraham and Helen Genevieve (Jennings) Breeden in Fort Leonard Wood.
She was a1964 Dixon R1 High School graduate and a 1968 graduate of Central Methodist University in Fayette.
Mary Kaye worked as an elementary music teacher in both Dixon and Granite City, Ill.
She was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Helen; brother, Forrest Kelnstin; sister,Vienna Tyson; nephew, Christopher Kelnstin; and niece, Anna Marie Friye.
Mary Kaye is survived by brother, Dr. Richard Breeden and wife, Denise of Rolla; six nephews and nieces; and four great nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Jan.19, in the Sheppard Baptist Church in Dixon, with Pastor Ryan Anderson officiating. Interment was in the Dixon Cemetery.
