An update from Maries R-2 Superintendent Dr. Lenice Basham said the district continued to do well this week.
“We have had no transportation issues,” Basham reported Tuesday afternoon.
The superintendent had reported at the Aug. 25 school board meeting that there was some confusion during pick up on the first day of school with more parents arriving than normal. She had said then that they expected to make changes and resolve the issue.
“We have had two positive staff cases, and we have zero positive student cases at this time,” Basham reported.
The district posts up dates on their Maries R-2 Schools Facebook page.
