The Maries County R-2 School District added a COVID-19 Dashboard to the school’s website at www.mariesr2.org to help the community keep track of positive cases within the school.
The chart does not provide the number of quarantined students and staff that resulted from a positive case.
“Last month we added a COVID Dashboard on the district website,” said Superintendent Dr. Lenice Basham. “Every time we have a new case we will update it there. Our numbers are relatively small right now. We have a lot out in quarantine at the moment, but our actual positive numbers are very small.”
The COVID-19 Dashboard showed two students and one staff member out due to positive cases on Nov. 24 and was updated on Tuesday, Dec. 1 to reflect zero students and one staff member with a positive case.
