Lisa Carol Weed, 59, Dixon, passed away Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at her sister’s residence.

She was born on Nov. 5, 1961, to Carl Eugene and Ruth Darlene (Baker) Watson, in Waynesville.

She was first united in marriage to Kenny Wilson. Lisa was later united in marriage to Charles A. Weed, April 6, 1999, in Maries County.

Lisa had worked for Brown Shoe Company, Dixon, until it closed and then she worked for Quaker Window Products, Freeburg, for 11 years. She later worked for Casey’s in Dixon for 10 plus years.

She was preceded in death by parents Carl and Ruth; daughter Kristie Wilson; brothers Robert Eugene Watson and Wilson Duane Watson.

Lisa is survived by husband Charlie, Dixon; daughter Teri and husband Jeff Crane, son Travin Weed and daughter Taylor Weed, all of Dixon; brothers Michael and wife Dee Watson and Paul and wife Beverly Watson, sisters Sandy and husband Sam Sherrell and Paula Foster, all of Dixon; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 2, from 4-6 p.m. with services following in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon, with Pastor Bev Sharp, Kenner Church of God and Pastor Shannon Perry, Santee Community Church, officiating.

Interment will be in the Seaton Cemetery at a later date.
