The 2020-2021 school year is swiftly winding down as graduation and year-end events approach.
On Friday, May 14, at 9 a.m. Maries R-1 will hold a senior awards/scholarship assembly in the gym, followed by graduation practice. When practice is completed, the members of the senior class will walk the halls as a group for the last time and will receive good wishes and congratulations from the student body and staff.
The annual VHS Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 16, at 2 p.m. in the gym.
Maries R-1 School will hold the 8th Grade Promotion on Tuesday, May 18, at 6 p.m. in the gym.
The last day of school at Maries R-1 is Wednesday, May 19, with dismissal at 11:30 a.m.
Maries R-2 seniors' last day is Friday, May 14. Graduation will be held Sunday, May 16. Finals will take place for R-2 students from Friday, May 21, through Tuesday, May 25. The Sports Banquet is Monday, May 24.
Maries R-2 will release students for summer vacation on May 25.
For Visitation Inter-Parish School, the last day of school for 8th graders is May 13. Graduation will be held at Visitation Church on May 14 at 5:30 p.m. for the three graduates. Visitation School will dismiss for the school year on Monday, May 17, at 11:30 a.m.
