Hildegard “Hilda” Elfriede Cockriel, 98, Rolla, formerly of Dixon, passed away on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, in Cedar Pointe, Rolla.
She was born on May 7, 1928, to the late Gustav and Louise Gregor in Wittgensdorf, Germany.
She was united in marriage to Richard Lawrence Cockriel on Sept. 23, 1954, in Manheim, Germany.
Hilda had been employed by the Post Exchange both in Germany and Fort Leonard Wood.
She was preceded in death by husband, Richard; parents, Gustav and Louise; and brother, Joachin Gregor and wife Edith.
Hilda is survived by special friend, Wanda Baker of Dixon.
Graveside services and inurnment were held on Oct. 26, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.
Arrangements entrusted to Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Dixon.
