Elva “Joy” May Talley, 65, Crocker, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at her residence in Crocker.
She was born on Sept. 18, 1956, to Ramona Steel Joy.
She was a United States Army veteran and had retired from the Missouri State Correctional Department where she served as a correctional officer.
Elva was preceded in death by mother Romona; and brother Chester Steel.
She is survived by children Amanda Miller of Crocker, and Raymond Talley of Dixon; brother Alden Wade; sisters Rose Wade, Heidi Wade and Louella Dalziel; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m.–12 noon in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Crocker, with her memorial service following.
