Dixie Lee Wideman, 89, Meta, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025.
She was born Oct. 9, 1936, to the late Clyde Cecil and Lillie Belle (Clark) Hollis in Maries County.
She was united in marriage to Andrew Frank Wideman April 29, 1956, in Hernando, Miss.
Dixie worked various jobs throughout her life such as waitressing, working at various factories and at convenience stores.
She was preceded in death by husband, Andrew; son, DeWayne Lee Wideman; daughter-in-law, Mary Wideman; brother, Harold Hollis; sister, Doris Humphrey; sisters-in-law, Lola Mae and Debbie Hollis; and brothers-in-law, Rick Robinson and Jack Humphrey.
Dixie is survived by sons, Michael Andrew Wideman of Vienna and Lonnie Ray Wideman and wife Janell of Jefferson City; daughters, Brenda Jean Tyree and husband Bob of Vienna and Anita Kay Troxell and husband Danny of Vienna; sister, Emma Lou Robinson of Rolla; brother, Daryl Hollis of Vienna; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 25, at Jones Funeral Home with Verlin Clark officiating. Interment was in the Vienna Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society.
