Dianna C. Schubert, 71, Meta, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia.
She was born April 18, 1952, to the late George Hubert and Elizabeth Marie (Schaffer) Scheulen in Meta.
She was united in marriage to Ronald Morgan Schubert Dec. 8, 1973.
Dianna was an active and devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Babbtown, where she faithfully taught Sunday School and served as secretary. She was a volunteer for the Meta Ambulance District for many years and a lifelong member of LWML.
Dianna had an unconditional love for her family, especially for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ronald; parents, George and Elizabeth; siblings, Kenneth Scheulen, Genevieve Branch, Jeannette Ripka, Daniel Scheulen and Raymond Scheulen; and father and mother-in-law, Almon and Loretta Schubert.
Dianna is survived by sons, Gabriel Schubert and wife April, Jeremiah Schubert and wife Nicole and Joshua Schubert; grandchildren, Ashlee Steffensen and husband Rob, Kaytlin Schubert, Jeremiah Schubert II, Kayla, Skye and Kaleb Schubert; great-granddaughters, Catalina and Lia; siblings, Geraldine Berry and husband Gerald, Linda Pace and husband David, Richard Scheulen and Melvin Scheulen and wife Bev; brother-in-law, Neal Schubert; sister-in-law, Sherrie Scheulen; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, April 1, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Schubert with Pastor Gerald Scheperle officiating. Interment will be held in St. John’s Cemetery in Babbtown.
