Diana Jean (Heil) Mittelhauser, 72, of Linn, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on July 14, 1951, to John Paul and Laverne Marie (Wohldmann) Heil in St. Louis.
She was a 1969 graduate of Mercy High School in St. Louis.
Diana was employed as a secretary for State Technical College in Linn for many years. After retirement, she helped in the St. George Catholic School office. She was a devoted member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
She was preceded death by parents, John and Laverne.
Diana is survived by daughter, Amanda Seifert and husband Matt of Linn; two grandchildren; brothers, Rev. John “Jack” Heil of Washington D.C., and Michael Heil and wife Vickie of Lake St. Louis; and sisters, Denise “Tinner” Allison and husband Perry of Edwardsville, Ill., and Donna “Nina” Kary and husband Gary of Robertsville.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 15, from 9–11 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 a.m., with Fr. Colin Franklin as the celebrant. Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.
