This year is a special year for the Belle Fair Board as the community celebrates the 75th year, the diamond era. What a time to be alive!

Wednesday evening the fairgrounds will open at 5:00 pm with hot, fresh fish sandwiches ready to go among many other items. Businesses and individuals will begin to line up for the smalltown famous parade which will kick off at 6:00 pm. Amusement rides presented by: Sonshine Entertainment will also begin at 6:00 pm, all week long! A fun-filled evening of dance team, coronation of the 75th Annual Belle Fair Princess and Queen, recognizing the retired Belle Fair Queens, little mister and miss, the toddler contest too much more will occur on the mainstage later in the evening. For the first time ever there will be a Super Farmer contest; event will begin at 7:00 pm in the YaYa arena. Teams will compete in 7 farm-like stations for those big prizes to be awarded. Make sure to grab a seat for all the fun and excitement. Show-Me Axe house will be on the fairgrounds on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00-8:00 pm, test out your axe throwing skills at their traveling stations.

Don Hayes will take the mainstage on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm, entertainer offers a wide variety range from gospel music to country covers.  For the second year in a row the Fair Cross will be hosted at the fair; the Fair Cross is a summer long series that travels across the state of Missouri; Belle will be the second spot for the season.

Action continues into Friday as the MMTTPA Truck and Antique Tractor pull will occur at 7:00 pm. This is the first time in several years MMTTPA has been on the fairgrounds, and it is sure to be a good time! Center Stage Band will rock the main stage from 7:00-11:00 pm. Center Stage Band plays music from country to rock to all the above, lead singer Collin Fraham has a voice that can do all; be sure to have those lawn chairs set and ready! Don’t forget during the day from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, new this year; WATER SLIDES for ages 5-11! It’s the Belle Fair, it’s going to be hot and humid; what an awesome way to cool off! The waterslides will be available on Friday and Saturday of the fair.

Saturday the final day of the Diamond Era to the 75th Annual Belle Fair, the morning will kick-off with a kid’s fishing tournament, the Belle Betterment Community Association (BBCA) cornhole tournament and the 39th Annual Kingsford Cook-off. The Garden Pull of Mid-Missouri will be on the fairgrounds hosting at 11:00 am. For all those golf fans, new this year will be a Mulligan golf tournament hosted by the lake. Be sure to support our local youth at the 4-H/FFA livestock auction under the cattle barns beginning at 2:00 p.m. The littles will be able to test their strength and skills at the Kiddie Tractor pull beginning at 4:00 p.m., the event is always a huge hit with the kids and a lot of excitement for the parents.

The Big Rigs is the opening act on the main stage on Saturday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. The Big Rigs started in the upstairs of a tiny bar in St. Louis, MO. What began as a gig at a birthday party has blossomed into something else altogether. Cover tunes eventually evolved into what would become their own original sound. A sound based heavily on a 3-part vocal harmony, scorching fiddle, and a roots country vibe. “Whiskey and Water”, their first original effort, was released in July 2016 and their follow up is due out mid-2020.

DRZIVEGAS will be the main headliner for the 75th Annual Belle Fair. For two decades, Dr. Zhivegas has reigned supreme as one of the most beloved and hardest working dance rock acts in the United States! With a Vegas residency and sold-out theatre shows in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Chicago on their resume, and more recently, selling out shows in the Midwest with their tribute to the music of Prince and The Resolution, Dr. Zhivegas has become the regional talent buyers go-to act for corporate galas, civic festivals, and casino showrooms. Local woman, Trina Backues-Knott states, “I’ve seen this band a ton, they are upbeat, fun, and just an all-around good time, I was so excited when I seen the Belle Fair Board announce they were the headliners this year!! Me and my girls will be there front row with our dancing shoes on!”

Saturday at the track will be the biggest, and baddest DEMO DERBY ever, event will begin at 6:00 p.m. Coordinators of the event have stated there is going to be many cars participating in the event. Be sure to grab some dinner, an ice-cold drink and be ready for a show you won’t forget.

The Belle Fair Board has went overboard this year with the BIGGEST, BRIGHTEST AND WILDEST Firework show in the tri-counties! The board ensures you this is going to be a firework show of a lifetime, the show will begin at 10:30 p.m.

The fair has many vendors to choose from this year, pony rides will be on the fairgrounds every night of the fair and face painters will be available on Friday and Saturday! The exhibit hall will be open on Thursday and Friday from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Our youth work all year round for these special days to celebrate and show-off their cattle and achievements, be sure to check out the cattle barn and show your support for our youth in 4-H and FFA. The Belle Betterment Community Association (BCBA) will be hosting the beer garden on the fairgrounds once again this year!
