Debra Jean Kampeter, 62, Dixon, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at her residence near Dixon.
She was born Feb. 28, 1963, to Von J. “Don” and Doris Jean (Sneed) Conner in Rolla.
She graduated from Dixon High School in 1981 and went on to obtain a degree in Agriculture from Southwest Missouri State University.
Debra was united in marriage to Douglas Edward Kampeter Nov. 29, 1997, at the Kenner Church of God, near Dixon.
She was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center in St. James and with the State of Missouri.
Debra was preceded in death by husband, Doug; and parents, Von and Doris.
She is survived by son, Shannon Kampeter and wife Amy; and daughter, Doria Brannock and husband Brendan, all of Dixon.
Funeral services were held Jan. 3, in the Kenner Church of God in Dixon, with Pastor Beverly Sharp officiating. Interment was in the Kenner Cemetery.
