Dallas H. Snodgrass, 77, of Vienna, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at Rolla Aurora Health and Rehab.
He was born Nov. 8, 1946, to Chester Norman “Ted” and Ruby Ruth (Copeland) Snodgrass in Jefferson City.
He was united in marriage to Terry Henderson, July 3, 1971.
Dallas graduated from Vienna High School in 1964. He attended Linn Tech and obtained an associate’s degree in 1966. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1966–70. He served on the local MFA Board for many years, as well as serving on the FSA (Farm Service Agency) Board and was a longtime member of the Vienna Church of Christ.
Dallas was preceded in death by parents, Ted and Ruby; brother, Delmar Snodgrass; and sister, Velma Hayes.
He survived by wife of 52 years,Terry of the home; sons, Dustin Keith Snodgrass and wife Lori of Sperry, Okla., and William Joseph Snodgrass and wife Amie of Vienna; four grandchildren; brothers, Donald Snodgrass of Vienna, Billy Snodgrass and wife Melvena of Meta, and Dennis Snodgrass of Vichy; and sister Vivian Sandbothe of Taos.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 2, from 5–7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9–11 a.m. at the Vienna Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Vienna Church of Christ at 11 a.m. with Pastor Josh White officiating. Interment with full military honors will be at the Vienna Public Cemetery following the service.
