Lorton granted $100,000 cash or surety bond, remains in custody

An Owensville man charged in the stabbing death of Trey Johnson, 21, of Owensville, and the assault of three others was granted a $100,000 cash or surety bond with conditions. 

Henry W. Lorton, 36, of Owensville, was in Judge Ada Brehe-Krueger’s 20th Associat Circuit Court on Oct. 8 requesting a $10,000 bond. According to Missouri Case.net, Brehe-Krueger’s order on Oct. 9 specifies no contact with the victim’s family, no alcohol or illegal drugs and GPS monitoring, among other conditions.

He remains in custody as of 2:33 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the Franklin County Adult Detention Center in Union.
