Lady Tigers win GVC opener over Bourbon

Welcoming Bourbon’s Lady Warhawks to Belle High School (BHS) for their Gasconade Valley Conference (GVC) opener last Thursday night, Biance Stocks’ Belle Lady Tigers looked to end the 2025 portion of their season on a winning note.

Nursing a 14-13 lead with 3:33 until halftime, Belle’s Lady Tigers ended the first half on a 9-0 run giving them a 23-13 lead after two quarters of basketball.

Able to keep their lead in double digits throughout the entire second half, Belle ended the 2025 portion of their season with a 47-29 victory over Bourbon in the GVC opener for both teams.

Anastyn Lansford showed the way for the Lady Tigers with a near triple-double effort of 22 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

Aubrey Rehmert also reached double figures for Belle with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Ava Feeler added six points while pulling down a team-high nine rebounds.

Makenna Lange scored all four of her points for Belle in the first quarter while also grabbing four rebounds.

Natalie Lansford rounded out the Lady Tiger scoring with two points and six steals.

Savanna Vance led Bourbon with 10 points, eight rebounds and five steals.

Lady Tigers vs. Dixon

Hosting Dixon’s Lady Bulldogs last Monday night in a Highway 28 hoops showdown at BHS, Belle trailed 14-12 after one quarter but could not overcome a 29-19 halftime deficit before falling 44-40 to the visiting Lady Bulldogs.

Anastyn Lansford paced the Lady Tigers with 18 points, three rebounds and three steals.

Saige Garner, Natalie Lansford and Feeler all added six points apiece with Garner also grabbing a team-high eight rebounds.

Rehmert rounded out the Belle scoring against Dixon with four points and five rebounds.

Going into 2026 with a 4-3 record, Belle will return to action in the new year on Friday, Jan. 2 on the road at Steelville with a 5:30 p.m., tip time for varsity-only GVC action.
