David Gavel, 80, passed away peacefully at home Nov. 13, 2025.
He was born Nov. 21,1944, to the late Victor and Eileen Gavel, in St. Louis.
He worked as a law enforcement agent, master electrician at Anheuser-Busch in St Louis and on the Trans-Alaska pipeline while in Valdez, AK.
David enjoyed spending much of his time at his farm in Belle where he enjoyed many years of solitude and peace in nature.
He is preceded in death by parents, Victor and Eileen Gavel, brother, Lawrence; sister, Bethany; and son, Steven Alan.
He is survived by sisters, Beverly Gavel and Meredith Laine; daughters, Diana Christine, Sheri Lynn, Pamela Ellen and Karin Sue; sons, James Bradley and David Michael; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
