In 1988, then-Sen. Joe Biden, a candidate for president of the United States, withdrew from the Democratic primary after he admitted to plagiarism and embellishing his academic record.
During an interview on C-SPAN, Biden boasted that he graduated in the top half of his law school class. Actually, he ranked 76th out of 85.
Biden wasn’t the only Democrat to bow out of the race for president that election cycle. Democrat Senator from Colorado, Gary Hart, backed out amid a scandal over extramarital affairs.
Hart’s political career ended, Biden’s did not.
Of course, neither Biden nor Hart had any values. But they recognized that Democratic voters did, eliminating their chances of winning.
Fast forward to today. It appears that voters in the Democrat party have lost their values, which began when they reelected President Bill Clinton after his sex scandal in the Oval Office.
Today, the Democrat party is the party without any values. It is the party of antisemitism, hate and violence.
The subject of my column from Oct. 18, 2023, was on antisemitism in the Democrat party, so I won’t rehash that, and instead focus on hate and violence.
Let’s start with hate. Last Tuesday, Virginia voters elected Democrat Jay Jones to the position of attorney general. In a text from 2022, Jones referenced putting “two bullets to the head” of Virginia GOP leader Todd Gilbert. Jones texted, “Three people, two bullets. Gilbert, Hitler and Pol Pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head.”
Jones did not stop there. He stated that he hoped Gilbert’s children would die in their mother’s arms.
After the text was made public Jones apologized.
There are unhinged people on both sides of the aisle who make death threats against public officials. The difference is that many on the left hold power in the Democratic Party, and Democrats vote for them. In 1988 they would not have.
Sen. Tim Sheehy, R-Mont., received a voicemail in July from Helena city commissioner candidate Haley McKnight. In her tryst, she said, “I hope that one day you get pancreatic cancer, and it spreads throughout your body so fast that they can’t even treat you for it. I hope you die in the street like a dog. One day, you’re going to live to regret this. I hope that your children never forgive you.”
That is hate. Hate leads to violence.
Missouri State Senator Eric Schmidt, before a Senate committee, recently shone the light on violence from the left wing of the Democrat party when he pointed out the following attacks committed by left-wing progressives.
• Lee Zeldin, Republican candidate for New York governor attacked with knife in July
• Covenant School massacre in March 2023 by a transgender shooter
• Butler, Penn., assassination attempt on President Donald Trump in July 2024
• Burned down cities during the “Summer of Love” resulting in riots and murder in 2020, and $2 billion in property damage
• Waukesha, Wisc. Christmas parade massacre, which killed six individuals
• Trump International West Palm Beach assassination attempt of President Trump
• United Care CEO Brian Thompson’s 2024 murder in Manhattan—in addition his death was celebrated by progressives
• Tesla vehicles, dealerships and charging stations vandalized and fire bombed across the US in March
• Two members of the Israeli embassy gunned down outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC in May
• ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas attacked on July 4—10 suspects charged, two had connections to Antifa
• Minnesota Catholic School shooting in August with the shooter calling for violence against President Trump, Catholics and Jews
• Attempted September firebombing of a FOX affiliate news vehicle in Utah
• Assassination of Charlie Kirk in September
Here is more violence committed by progressives.

• Georgia man arrested in October for allegedly shooting at North Carolina home after tearing down Trump banner
The party I vote for values life, condemns violence wherever it occurs and supports Israel in its fight to remain a nation.
For local Democrats who are not antisemitic, full of hate and do not promote violence; how does it make you feel to know you are supporting this?
