Stephanie Plassmeyer, 59, passed away at her home Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.
She was born Jan. 28, 1967, to the late Murl and Dianna Seymour in Jefferson City.
She was a 1985 graduate of Belle high school.
Steph was a member of the First Christian Church in which she was active teaching vacation bible school and helping with the dinners. Her faith in God was strong and she read her Bible frequently.
Steph was united in marriage to Bryan Plassmeyer on Nov. 1, 1986, at the First Christian Church in Belle.
She worked at Lortz’s Supermarket as well as Garstang Gas when she was younger, and retired from the Vienna Licensing office after 23 years of employment.
Steph enjoyed scrapbooking, embroidery and watching nascar racing. Above all, she loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved her.
Steph was preceded in death by parents, Murl and Dianna; and father-in-law, Jim Plassmeyer.
She is survived by husband of almost 40 years, Bryan; daughters, Allie Plassmeyer and friend Brent Beckmann and Katie Plassmeyer; granddaughter, Blayke Beckmann; grandson, Colter Plassmeyer; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time and will be announced by Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle.
