Seeing their junior-varsity volleyball counterparts fall in three sets against Bourbon last Tuesday night, Whitney Sooter’s Belle Lady Tiger varsity volleyball team looked to even the night with a victory in their match.

Overcoming early deficits in the first two sets, Sooter’s Lady Tigers were able to take game three and the match by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-13.

“It felt great to get our first win especially in a conference match,” Sooter said.

Now tied at 20-20, a Bourbon service error sent Belle’s Hayden Fann into serving duty.

Serving the final four points of the match, Fann also got help from a Chloe Jones and Lansford kill to take game one in the best three out of five set match.

Leading 8-4 in a Chloe Jones kill, Belle’s Kennedy Kinkead served the next five points stretching Belle’s lead to 13-4.
