Sheila Marie Oakley, 73, St. James, passed away Wednesday, April 8, at Cuba Manor in Cuba.
She was born May 3, 1952, to Daniel A. Sr. and Anna Mae (Hecht) Wofford in Granite City, Ill.
She was united in marriage to Roger Lyle Oakley October, 31, 1987, in Granite City, Ill.
Sheila enjoyed her yard work and baking.
She was preceded in death by husband, Roger; father, Daniel Sr.; and brother, Daniel Jr.
Sheila is survived by mother, Anna Mae of Red Bird; brothers, Glenn Wofford and wife Tyke of Red Bird and Bradley Wofford and partner Gary of Montgomery City, Md.; nephews Daniel Wofford III and wife Jamie of O’Fallon, Ill. and Shannon Dahms and wife Terri of Owensville; nieces, Dara Howard and husband Zach of the state of Washington and Jodi Pryor and husband John of Sullivan; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Services were held (today), Wednesday, April 15, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, with Pastor Doug Williams officiating. Interment was in Bowen Cemetery near Red Bird.
