Ronald Lee Newbound, 58, Owensville, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 11, 1967, to Robert and Mary Ellen (Duke) Newbound in Jefferson City.
He was united in marriage to Lori Bizzle Sept. 11, 1999, in Belle.
Ronald was a member of Owensville Baptist Church.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, doing woodwork, working puzzles, watching NASCAR,watching football and spending time at their farm.
Ronald recently received an award for working 35 years at Lakeside.
He was preceded in death by father, Robert; father-in-law, Roy Bizzle; and his grandparents.
Ronald is survived by wife, Lori of their home; mother, Mary Ellen of Belle; mother-in-law, Kay Bizzle of Owensville; children, Emma and Evan Newbound, both of Owensville; siblings, Lori Harris and husband Matthew of Mineola, Lisa Newbound and Joe Newbound and wife Taffi, all of Belle; sister-in-law, Sherry Bizzle and Jim Brandon of Bland; three nieces; three nephews; and numerous cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 15, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Interment was in Campbell Cemetery in Belle.
Memorial contributions suggested per the family’s choice.
