Roy Lee Overshon, 80, of Dixon, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the Phelps Health in Rolla.
He was born on Sept. 16, 1945, to the late Adolph Moses and Gertrude Isabel (Robertson) Overshon in Dixon.
He was united in marriage to Bobbie Lee Hall on Aug. 7, 1965.
Roy worked at the Dixon Locker Plant and at the commissary at Fort Leonard Wood.
He was preceded in death by parents, Adolph and Gertrude; and sister, Berniece Copeland.
Roy is survived by wife, Bobbie of Dixon; daughters, Dawn Watkins of Venice, Fla. and Sherri Dake of Nixa; brother, Bobby Wayne Overshon of Dixon; six granddaughters; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, May 12, in the Martin-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel in Dixon, with Bro. Archie Atwell, Hephzibah Holiness Church officiating. Interment was in the Dixon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Dixon Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
