Roger Allen Hollingsworth, 71, Bland, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Hollingsworth Farms.
He was born March 30, 1955, to the late Alva Owen and Ethel (Shockley) Hollingsworth in Rolla.
He was united in marriage to MarshaLynn Bingham on April 25, 1982, in Belle.
His life’s passion was farming. Roger spent the majority of his years raising cattle, hogs, baling hay and tilling gardens for the town folks. Later on after his retirement he came to enjoy piddling in his workshop, tending to his vegetable garden, and still “playing” on his John Deere tractor.
Roger was preceded in death by parents Alva and Ethel.
He is survived by wife, MarshaLynn of their home; daughters, AmyRae Hollingsworth of Bland and Victoria Hollingsworth of Bonne Terre; son, Charles “Chuck” Hollingsworth of Blue Springs; grandchildren, Charlie Peanick and husband Colt, Logan Hollingsworth, Dory Kirgan, Constance, Athena and Karma Comparato, Avah Davis and Alaina Hollingsworth; and great-grandchildren, Noah and Nova Doss; with two more due later this year.
His body was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
