Robert “Bert” Galloway, 83, passed away on March 21, 2026.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1942, to the late Winton and Ellen Galloway, in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
He graduated from high school in 1961 after which he served his country in the U. S. Air Force.
Bert was employed as a traffic engineer for Miami-Dade County in Florida.
He was united in marriage to Debbie in 1992.
Bert was preceded in death by wife, Debbie; and parents,Winton and Ellen.
He is survived by daughter, Debbi McVeigh and husband Shawn; sons, Stephen Galloway and wife Rose and Jonathan Morris and wife Belinda; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service with Full Military Honors and interment was held on March 31, at Howard Cemetery near Bland.
Memorial contributions suggested to Veterans organizations of your choice, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Lorida Volunteer Fire Department.
Arrangements entrusted to Sassmann’s Chapel in Bland.
