Patricia “Pat” Sue Safarik, 67, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026 at her home in Valley Center, Kan. surrounded by family.
She was born on May 22, 1958, to William and Alma (Schweglar) Moman in Belle.
She graduated from Maries County High School in Belle in 1976 and Lincoln University in 1993 where she majored in Accounting.
She was born and raised in Belle, Missouri finally residing in Kansas.
Pat was employed by Wolters Kulers (Formly CCH) for 30 plus years.
She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Valley Center, Kan.
Pat enjoyed spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by father, William of Odessa, Texas.
Pat is survived by mother, Alma Moman; husband, Paul; sons, Richard Martin and Robert Martin and wife Genny; daughter, Samantha Miller and husband Corey; sister, Nancy Quick and husband John-Paul; brothers, Gary Moman, Jacob Moman and wife Tammy, Timothy Moman and Teddy Moman and wife Christine; aunt, Oletha Schweglar and husband Keith; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held at the Baker Funeral Home in Kansas, Tuesday, Feb. 24 for local friends and family.
A second visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, followed by the funeral service at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville and a reception at Red Oak Valley located at the Red Barn 3725 MO-19 in Owensville.
