Norma Geraldine “Jerri” Miller, 87, Dixon passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She was born on March 17, 1939, a daughter to the late Fred James and Norma Corene (Buckner) Wagoner in Jerome.
She was united in marriage to William L. Miller on Oct. 14, 1989, in Maries County.
Jerri had worked as a licensed dietitian for the Dixon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dixon and was a home healthcare giver for many in the area.
She was preceded in death by husband, William; son,Wayne Elms; daughters, Lisa Elms (infant) and Brenda Arthur; brothers, Bryon, Bob and Marion Wagoner; and sisters, June Miller, Janet Hall and Joyce Jackson.
Jerri is survived by sons, Dennis Elms and wife Salley of Rolla and Billy Elms of Dixon; daughters, Linda Lusk and husband John and Cynthia Meyer of Cario, Egypt; brothers, Bill and Jake Wagoner, both of the state of Washington; James Bruce Wagoner and wife Brenda of Jerome; sisters, Judy Wagoner and husband Delaine and Jill Wagoner, both of Dixon; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 12, in the Apostolic Faith Church in Jerome, with Pastor Jeff Gray of New Harvest Apostolic Church in St. Robert, officiating. Inurnment was in the Dixon Cemetery in Dixon.
