Mary Ann Wildhaber, 86, of Freeburg, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2024.

She was born July 10, 1938, to Alois and Cecilia (Kloeppel) Buechler.

She was united in marriage to Francis “Franny” Wildhaber, Sept. 27, 1958. 

After graduating from Fatima High School, Mary Ann began her lifelong career at the State of Missouri Division of Employment Security and retired in 1997 after 40 plus years of service. She was dedicated to her faith and served Holy Family Parish in many ways; she sang with the adult choir, active in the Church Finance Committee, and former Parish Council president. 

She was preceded in death by husband, Francis; daughter, Debby Hanlon; parents, Alois and Cecilia; and brothers, Carl and Joe Buechler.

Mary Ann is survived by daughters, Donna Stuckenschneider (Curt) and Diane Kempker (Shawn); sisters, Carol Sandbothe (David) and Martha Kliethermes (Larry); six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Oct. 4, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, with Rev. William D. Debo as the celebrant. Interment was in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Freeburg.
