Mark Blair James, 64, Belle, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.
He was born May 11, 1961, to the late James “Jim” Albert James and Mary Elaine (Blair) James.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Mark was united in marriage to Mendy Lucille Moore Aug. 2, 1986, at the Vienna United Methodist Church.
He owned and operated James Pest Control.
Mark was preceded in death by parents, James and Mary; and brother, Brian William James.
He is survived by wife, Mendy of Belle; daughters, Crystelle Canuto of Columbia, Elaina Shewmaker and husband DJ of O’Fallon, and Lacey Stockton and husband Tyler of Belle; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Paul James and wife Pam, Joe James and wife Sherry and Jay James and wife Diane, all of Vienna; and sister, Connie Sandbothe and husband Art of Vienna.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 6, at Visitation Catholic Church in Vienna. Interment followed at James Community Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Vienna Knights of Columbus.
