VIENNA — The Maries County Commission approved lawn care bids and discussed the installation of an automated teller machine at the courthouse on March 12, according to official meeting minutes.
Presiding Commissioner Vic Stratman and Western District Commissioner Pat Kleffner were present along with County Clerk Rhonda Rodgers. No visitors were recorded in attendance.
Commissioners opened bids for two lawn care services they received. Struemph Lawn Care submitted a $79 bid and Distler’s Lawn Care submitted a $65 bid.
Commissioners also spoke with Kristin James of Maries County Bank about installing an ATM in the courthouse. According to the minutes, the ATM will be located in the courthouse front foyer.
James said the bank would use its own internet service, Whisper Internet, for the machine. Commissioners said the ATM would be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., during courthouse hours.
With no further business before the commission, Kleffner made a motion at 10:25 p.m. to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Stratman and approved unanimously.
