Lawrence “Larry” W. Buehrlen, 47, Belle, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was born Dec. 31, 1978, to the late Johnie and Patricia (Touchett) Buehrlen in Rolla.
He spent most of his life in and around the Belle area, a place he proudly called home.
Larry had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing along the Gasconade River.
From a young age, he developed a strong work ethic and a talent for construction. That passion led him to build a career in home construction and eventually start his own construction company.
In addition to his work, Larry enjoyed building and working on cars, always finding satisfaction in creating and fixing things with his hands.
He was known for his outgoing personality and generous spirit. Larry was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and his kindness and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew him.
Larry was preceded in death by parents, Johnie and Patricia; and daughter, Samantha Jo Buehrlen.
He is survived by daughters, Abigail and Bailee Jo Buehrlen; brothers, Donie and Randy Buehrlen, both of Rolla, Mike Buehrlen of St. James and Paul Buehrlen of Bland.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at Bland Christian Church in Bland. A meal provided by the church will directly follow.
