June Carollee Goodman, 88, Springfield, formerly of Dixon, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, in The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek, Springfield.
She was born Jan. 22, 1934, to Virgil and Charity (Martin) Brown in Glencoe.
She was united in marriage Sept. 1, 1956, to Roland Meryl Goodman in Dixon.
June was a member of the Dixon United Methodist.
She was preceded in death by parents Virgil and Charity; and brother Virgil Brown, Jr.
She is survived by daughters Carol Simmons of Nixa, Holly Fuller and husband Bradford of Waynesville, and Whither Dollarhide and husband Tyrone of Ballwin; and eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
A graveside funeral service will be Wednesday (today), Jan. 26, at 11 a.m. at the Dixon Cemetery, Dixon, with Chad Strain officiating.
Memorials suggested to the Dixon Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
