Seven to nine inches covered the Maries County area starting during the early Wednesday morning hours and ending Thursday afternoon. Slick roads Wednesday slowed traffic around the county. A MoDOT truck overturned on Wednesday morning attempting to clear snow from Highway AA near Vienna. No injuries and no significant damage was reported. The truck was back in operation by 4 p.m. that same day. Hank Stratman and Braxton Wilburn worked Friday to help people around Belle clear driveways of heavy snow.
