VIENNA — Governor Mike Kehoe’s Office announced on Oct. 20 that Beth Wulff of Vienna was appointed as Maries County Collector, filling the vacancy left after former collector Jayne Williams retirement.
Wulff has served in the collector’s office for a decade and most recently stepped in as interim collector following Jayne Williams retirement.
“I’m relieved that I don’t have to think about it anymore for a couple months,” Wulff said of her official appointment.
Before her appointment, Wulff served as deputy county collector for 10 years. She remains active in her local parochial schools, where she serves as a School Cash Rebate Incentive Program (SCRIP) coordinator. She holds an associate’s degree in business and computer specialization from Metro Business College.
Kehoe’s announcement included three other appointments to statewide positions which were Leisha Barry of Holt to the Northwest Missouri State University Board of Regents; Kamera Meaney of Blue Springs to the MO HealthNet Oversight Committee; and Steve Poniewaz of Ballwin to the Credit Union Commission.
Wulff’s appointment is effective immediately. She will serve until the next general election, when voters will determine who fills the remainder of the term.
