George Warren Wadlow, 93,Vichy, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, in the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1933, to the late Charles Washington and Molly Catherine (Kelly) Wadlow in Sebula.
He was united in marriage to Alice Marie Pinkley on Aug. 4, 1951, at Pilot Knob.
George was employed with General Motors in St. Louis and Smith Sawmill in Doolittle.
He was preceded in death by wife, Alice; parents, Charles and Molly; brothers, Charles, Doyle, Dorse, Ross, Arlis, Fred, Floyd and Lloyd Wadlow; sisters, Louise and Mildred; and two grandchildren.
George is survived by daughters, Catherine Wagner and husband William, Diane Carpenter, Jeannette Gaarder and husband John and Jill Garnett; sister, Carol Invester; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren,
The Funeral Service was held on Aug.26, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel in Vienna, with Pastor Chris Slocum, First Baptist Church, Vienna officiating.
Interment was in the Vienna Public Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.
