Don’t re-elect tyrants

In the spring of 2020, a close friend called and asked: “Have you heard about the new virus spreading worldwide?” I had indeed as it was on radio newscasts and in the newspapers. There were more questions than answers back then, leading to a lot of fear.

The next month, arrows started appearing on store aisles. We were told to “follow the arrows for one-way foot traffic in this store to reduce the spread of COVID-19” That was total nonsense.

Covid is a coronavirus - same family as the common cold. Variations affect both humans and livestock. It is contagious and it turns out that the generations-old advice - Stay home if you have a fever, exercise, stay hydrated and eat foods that boost immunity is the best advice.

My grandmother used to say "there is no cure for the common cold, it just has to run its course."

Then some folks at the big pharma companies decided to peddle concoctions as vaccines - injections that did not meet the scientific threshold for a vaccine; that is to prevent infection from a virus or to prevent the spread. ‘The shot’ did neither. A worldwide effort was launched to convince people it did in fact prevent the spread. Commercials ran in Missouri spreading this myth trying to guilt people into getting the shot. Many local and state politicians supported this policy because it was endorsed by the FDA who was being pushed by Pfizer and other drug companies.

When grandmother said ‘it just has to run its course’, what she meant is your body has to build immunity to that strain of virus you were recently exposed to. Natural immunity is what beat Covid and the viruses making their way around your community today.

Covid 19 pandemic was a tragedy, but it did expose corruption at all levels of government. Some local health departments here in Missouri, the state dept of health, the CDC and the FDA.

Last weekend, Kansas City radio aired a new Pfizer commercial promoting their Covid Shot and recommending a flu shot at the same time. Maybe we should ban the advertising of prescription drugs, since the ads are usually misleading.

Thomas Sowell sums it up best; “Some things must be done on faith, but the most dangerous kind of faith is that which masquerades as ‘science.’ ”

In just 6 weeks, you will get to vote for a variety of state and local candidates. Look up the candidate’s history. Remember, incumbents have a record! This election is an opportunity to not vote for those who promoted medical tyranny and to not vote for those politicians who did nothing to stop it. Silence is consent.

Did they implement or support policies such as mandatory masks, stay at home orders, meetings in violation of the sunshine law, mandatory shots or one way aisles at the grocery store? All of these were based on fear and population control - not science.

Did they seek truth over propaganda? Did they protect your liberty and your rights?

The political goal of Covid was compliance, the same goal of all communist dictators. The goal of the next election should be to not re-elect those who were trying to force you to comply.

Don’t re-elect tyrants.

Election day is Tuesday November 5. Last day to register to vote is Wednesday October 9
