Donald R. McCune, 88, Davenport, Fla., formerly Linn, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, in Davenport after a battle with heart and lung issues.
He was born Nov. 13, 1934, to the late William and Ruth McCune in Sedalia. In 1975, his family moved to the Argyle area.
Don served his country in the U.S. Army/Army Reserves.
He was united in marriage to Marion I. Dewey in 1955. She preceded him in death in 1999. Don was later united in marriage to Evelyn Steinle.
He was employed with Puritan Bennett in Health and Hospital Sales and Services.
Don was preceded in death by first wife Marion; parents, William and Ruth; brothers, Dale and David; and sister, Carol and wife Marion.
He is survived by second wife, Evelyn; daughters Kim and Krystal; sons, Daniel and Douglas; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services are not yet planned. Interment will be in the Longview Cemetery in Grandview.
